Time periodActivity
01/2023 – todayScientific Assistant, Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany
07/2017 – 11/2022Study of Mechanical Engineering – Calculation and Simulation / Construction (Grade: 1.7), Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany

Main areas of work

  • Modeling of chemical reactions in combination with species transport in solids (current focus is on oxidation processes and the formation of oxide layers)
  • Thermo-mechanical modeling of shape memory alloys at crystal level with explicit consideration of transformation systems for finite deformations
  • Mechanical simulations using FEM for strength assessment and service life estimation

Teaching

  • Exercise: Applied mechanics – Strength of materials I

Research projects

  • PTJ/BMBF project "H2Giga - Technology development for water electrolysis on a gigawatt scale" (11/2021-06/2025)
