First semester courses in the university library
Welcome first semester students!
We warmly welcome you to TU Bergakademie Freiberg!
In the next few weeks you will have the opportunity to attend an introductory course on using the library.
We would like to show you everything you need for your first steps in the university library at the start of your studies. In about 45 minutes, we will inform you about the following topics:
- Managing your online user account
- Literature search in the catalogue
- Lending, renewing and reserving literature
- Different literature areas followed by a tour of the library
Further information is available at the circulation desk on the 1st floor or from the subject librarians. You can also contact the subject librarians of the respective subject area.

In den nächsten Wochen hast du die Möglichkeit, eine Einführungsveranstaltung in die Bibliotheksbenutzung zu besuchen.
Alles was du für deine ersten Schritte in der UB benötigst, möchten wir dir ³Ô¹ÏÍø Studienbeginn zeigen. Wir informieren dich in ca. 45 Minuten zu folgenden Themen:
- Verwaltung des Online-Benutzerkontos
- Literatursuche im Katalog
- Ausleihe, Verlängerung und Vormerkung von Literatur
- verschiedene Literaturbereiche mit anschließendem Rundgang durch die Bibliothek
Weitere Informationen erhältst du an der Ausleihe im 1. Obergeschoss oder bei den Fachreferentinnen und Fachreferenten des jeweiligen Fachgebietes.
