The 9th simul⁺Future Forum took place yesterday at TSW Radebeul - a real highlight of the year for the simul⁺network!

After a warm welcome by the Saxon State Minister for Regional Development, , and a keynote speech by on the topics and , four exciting projects were presented as "Intelligent Solutions from Saxony".
These included our very special highlight: the simul⁺real laboratory SAMSax. As part of the presentation, , and Prof Wagenführ introduced our real-world laboratory to a wide audience. SAMSax combines various to ensure the of this pioneering project:
The is responsible for , a key technology with great potential for innovative mechanical engineering. In in particular, this technology offers enormous opportunities to drive the flexible and creative economy forward. Thanks to the support of the , we were able to equip our laboratory to the highest standard and integrate two unique binder jetting machines.
At the , Chair of Wood Technology and Fibre Materials Engineering, the focus is on the analysis and processing of residual materials. The focus is not only on renewable raw materials, but also on the diverse secondary raw materials from wood, paper, textile, plastics and mineral processing, which are to be reused sustainably in the sense of the circular economy.
The with the acts as a bridge builder in the project. With its expertise in open innovation and Industry 4.0, it strengthens Saxon industry through and . Small and medium-sized companies in particular benefit from support in tapping into new technological and economic potential.
The evening concluded with a successful get-together, where participants exchanged ideas about innovations in Saxony and discussed future collaborations.
