The Institute regularly welcomes new doctoral students and employees who enrich our research with their expertise, fresh ideas and innovative approaches and provide valuable input for future projects. Their different backgrounds and perspectives promote interdisciplinary exchange and strengthen collaborative work on scientific challenges and new discoveries.
We are very pleased to introduce our student assistant Charleen Gärttner!
Charleen is studying nanotechnology in her 10th semester and will be working at the institute until March 2026. She is currently supporting the team under the supervision of Dipl. Ing. Marieke Stapf and will take on central tasks in the project process, especially in the transition period before and during Mrs. Stapf's maternity leave. Her tasks will include the production and investigation of quantum dots and the coating of substrates in close collaboration with Dr Friedrich Roth.
With the start of Mrs. Stapf's maternity leave, Charleen will continue to work independently on the projects. She is particularly interested in the field of quantum dots, which is why she has decided to carry out both her research project and her diploma thesis in this exciting area.
We greatly appreciate Charleen's commitment and her structured way of working and look forward to continuing our collaboration!
