In the current debate on raw material security, energy transition and sustainability, TUBAF alumni are building bridges to their home and target countries. The aim is to expand the specialist network on the circular economy and also to initiate international cooperation. This is where our alumni come into play. As multipliers and ambassadors, they play a key role in the transfer of knowledge and technology - in both directions.

TUBAF invites international alumni to take part in the DAAD-sponsored alumni week "Alumni in Transfer for Circular Economy".

They will gain an insight into current research and transfer topics and will be motivated to actively contribute their expertise and existing contacts to TUBAF's alumni work.

The 5-day alumni training seminar, which is partly funded by the DAAD, is linked to the traditional and highly regarded format of the Freiberg University Forum. The topic of the alumni colloquium will be "Circular Economy". The focus here is on environmentally and climate-friendly technologies in which the areas of climate protection, sustainable economic development and social progress are closely interlinked. The international alumni symposium is intended to bring together experts from different countries and thus facilitate an exchange of experience and knowledge. As the event is part of the Freiberg University Forum, there is also the opportunity to learn more about other subject areas. Here too, scientific exchange is the primary objective. Partners from industry and research will also provide insights into current research or projects.

We look forward to receiving your application!
