Head out! How a stay abroad can help you advance your doctorate

Whether it's just a few days, several weeks or even months – spending time abroad during your doctorate can make a big difference. Those who dare to look beyond their own horizons gain new perspectives and inspiration – not only for their research work, but also for their personal development.
During this evening, doctoral candidates will share their experiences abroad. What did they encounter, and how did this journey contribute to advancing their research project?
We discuss various options for integrating a stay abroad into your doctoral studies – be it as a participant in a summer school or conference, or as a visiting scientist at another research institution. How can this be organised, and how can it be financed?
