Research interests
I'm a geologist whose research interests span a broad range of geological topics and mainly include sedimentary provenance analysis, tectonics and sedimentation, basin analysis, regional geology, and palaeogeography.
- Palaeogeographic and geodynamic evolution of North Gondwana and its periphery throughout the Phanerozoic
- Palaeogeographic and geodynamic evolution of Baltoscandia with a focus on the late Neoproterozoic and Palaeozoic
- Environmental changes at the dawn of animal life
- Testing the reliability and improving methods and tools in sedimentary provenance analysis
- Research towards the exploration of natural resources
