Japanese A1

The Japanese A1 course starts in the winter semester and lasts two semesters. The course comprises 2 semester hours of lectures and 2 semester hours of independent study. There are no prerequisites. Participation in the course is free of charge for students and doctoral candidates enrolled at TUBAF as well as for employees. A course fee of €30 per semester is charged for guest listeners.

Japanese A1

The participant learns simple communication skills for everyday situations, as well as the Hiragana and Katakana character systems according to the Hepburn system and Kanji according to the vocabulary taught. 4 CP (if this is provided for in the study and examination regulations for your degree programme) and certificate upon successful completion. The module ends with an examination. Admission to the examination is granted if active participation in at least 80% of the courses is fulfilled.
