It's not just academic performance that counts, but also personal development and voluntary work: students and applicants for a first degree programme at TUBAF can now apply for the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship again. "Supporting students who take on challenges, assume responsibility and master difficult situations is an investment in the future," says Professor Swanhild Bernstein, Vice-Rector for Education and Quality Management in Teaching at TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Current scholarship holders explain why it is worth applying here.
Good grades and academic achievements as well as social and community involvement are taken into account for the selection process. Special personal family circumstances under which the applicants are coping with their studies are also taken into account. The selected scholarship holders receive financial support of 300 euros per month for a maximum of one year and benefit from a network of committed students and donors.
Applications can be submitted until 20 July via the :
- Students in diploma, bachelor's and master's degree programmes in their first semester who are enrolled at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg and
- student applicants for a first degree programme who wish to enrol in the first semester at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg and fulfil the admission requirements for the degree programme.
